Travis Alabanza

Travis Alabanza is a writer and performer, their work often focuses on how to spotlight queer and trans issues in hopefully expansive ways.

Their plays (Burgerz, Overflow, Sound of the Underground) have each reached critical praise.

Burgerz winning a total theatre award, Overflow recently touring Australia to five star reviews and being shortlisted for the George Divine Award, and Sound of the Underground selling out the Royal Court to five stars in the guardian.

Their book None of the Above won the Jhalak literary prize and was listed in Time Magazine as one of the top 100 books of 2023.
